Tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll
1926 – 2022
It is with great sadness that Effingham Parish Council has learnt of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this time.
Her Majesty was greatly loved, and her death will be mourned and deeply felt by everyone in Effingham. As we mourn her passing we also give great thanks for her seventy magnificent years as Queen and Head of State of the United Kingdom and head of the Commonwealth. She will be greatly missed, as will her dedication to duty which earned the respect of the nation.
We shall have a period of silence before our Parish Council meeting to remember Her Majesty and her great service to our Country.
