The Effingham Conservation Area was first designated in 1973, and covers much of the village north of Guildford Road (the A246). Its current extent is shown hatched in blue on this map.
Guildford Borough Council is currently developing an updated ‘Effingham Conservation Area Appraisal’, and consulted on a draft in February 2020.
